Dr. Laura Madsen
Dr. Madsen was born in Ottawa, Ontario. Her family moved to Agassiz when she was 7 so her father could continue his research in Dairy Cattle Nutrition at the Experimental Farm. Dr. Madsen studied Animal Science at UBC before being accepted at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon where she graduated with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. Dr. Madsen and family have lived in Prince George and the Sunshine Coast before moving back to Harrison Hot Springs in 2008. In her time away from work, Dr. Madsen enjoys biking, hiking and water sports with her husband and two daughters, singing, and growing organic vegetables.
